Some Things to Do
There is so much to do in and around the community. You can find plenty of family fun or a night out on the town for the adults. The only real limit to your adventure is your own imagination.
Living Coasts - This facility offers indoor and outdoor exhibits so that you can always find something to do. Visit the penguins, seals and other birds outdoors. Inside you get a glimpse below the water. There is also a new Discovery Zone that shows you interactive displays of coastal habitats at risk.
Dartmouth Castle - take a step back in time when you visit this amazing castle site that began in the 14th Century. You can enjoy great stories of the past and many displays of the castle’s history.
House of Marbles - there is a full day of family fun in this marble museum. There are plenty of games, six Marble runs and several outdoor attractions that will entertain you for hours. There is also a glass museum that displays over 4000 years of history of glass production.
Pennywell Farm and Wildlife Centre - enjoy some hands on fun when you visit this award winning facility. Take some time to milk a goad, race a ferret or feed some of the baby animals. There are plenty of staff to guide your visit so that you can learn while you enjoy.
Cockington Village - hidden deep in a valley just a short distance from Torquay is a historic village. There is parkland to enjoy, woodlands to explore and lakes with fresh fish and amazing scenes. Enjoy an adventure of imagination back into the 14th Century.
